carlo magno changes frankis kindoms
He expanded the various Frankish kingdoms until they became an empire, which incorporated much of Western and Central Europe.
Carlo magno called to like the father of madedieval times, he do a lot of new estuctures and improvements on medieval times. He inproves a ot of thing but the best two were andimistrative and militar areas and he consolidated a new order that today we call feudalism.

Carloman died shortly after his father, in the year 771, allowing his brother to govern the entire extent of the Frankish kingdom. But he was not content with that: throughout his forty-seven years of reign Charlemagne subdued the Lombards of northern Italy, the Saxons of Germany and created the Hispanic March south of the Pyrenees. In the year 800 he was crowned Emperor of the Romans by the Pope, becoming the first European sovereign to assume an imperial title since the fall of the Western Roman Empire.
The Frankish king was married to Ermengarde, the daughter of Desiderius, the king of the Lombards (or Lombards) who ruled northern Italy.
The Lombard king, offended by Charlemagne for having repudiated his daughter, did not need anything more to start the war. But it was a disastrous decision for him: Charlemagne divided his army into two columns and one of these managed to reach Pavia and put it under siege. On the Easter eve of 774, he received a visit from a delegation of Roman counts and bishops who brought him an invitation from Pope Hadrian I to visit Rome, which he gladly accepted. In the ancient city of the Caesars he was received with all honors and forged an alliance with the pope, as interested as he was in getting rid of the Lombards.
